We are Shawn and Jody Sunstrum and together with our family & friends we strive to create authentic human connection. The Sunny Spot focuses on natural fun, adventure and fantastic food to rekindle the spirit within us all.

We are all about adventures and hope you’ll enjoy your adventure at The Sunny Spot.

  • 5225 highway 10 East, Drumheller, AB 1.5KM west of the world famous Hoodoos

  • KITCHEN
    May to June: Thursday-Sunday & holiday Mondays 11:30 am to 8 pm.
    July to August: Open Daily from 11:30am - 8pm.
    September to October: Friday-Sunday & holiday Mondays 11:30 am to 7 pm.

    MINI GOLF
    July-August    : 7 days a week 10 am to 9 pm. Last round sold at 8 pm.
    September-October: TBD weather dependent.

    CORN MAZE/PUMKIN PATCH
    August: 7 days a week 10 am to 9 pm

    September-October: TBD weather dependent.

  • We LOVE pets and especially our dog Rosie. Pets are allowed ON leash and must be under owners control at all times. Pets are permitted in the corn maze on leash for a small fee. Unfortunately we do not allow any pets in the mini golf area.

  • We are an outdoor venue and do not have control over the weather or insects. Please plan accordingly.

  • We do have a portable washroom facility. It is a huge priority it is kept spotless! Please help us to maintain our standards by using our facility with respect.

  • We offer free parking while visiting. The lot is large and has room for holiday vehicles to maneuver.

Furry Friends & Little Ones
Just like our beloved pets, we adore kids too! For everyone's safety and comfort, we ask that both our young guests and furry pals be managed at all times.

Caring for Nature Please refrain from climbing on tables, throwing rocks, or any activities that might harm the surroundings or bother other visitors.
